Testing with Millennium offers healthcare professionals choices
Millennium’s medication monitoring and drug detection services provide more than just test results to healthcare professionals treating people with chronic pain. We deliver the comprehensive scientific data backed by service and education necessary to clarify and reconcile results to make more informed clinical decisions for better patient outcomes.
With Millennium, healthcare professionals have several choices to design their medication monitoring and drug detection program to best suit the unique needs of their patients and their practice.
Perform In-office Drug Testing
With required CLIA waiver, healthcare professionals can perform in-office testing on instant-read or instrumented (analyzer) devices and utilize Millennium for quantification of results.
Perform In-office Drug Testing and Order Additional Tests
Millennium’s testing services quantify in-office qualitative drug class tests. We also offer additional test options for many other medications and drugs of interest to healthcare professionals that are not included on the in-office drug test devices.
Individual Drug Test Selection
Unlike industry peers, Millennium provides healthcare professionals with the choice of individual test selection, as opposed to pre-set panels of tests. Collect specimens (urine or oral fluid) and send to Millennium to identify the individual drugs and metabolites selected based on medical necessity.
Single Quantitative Test by LC-MS/MS
Millennium offers a single quantitative test by LC-MS/MS for each individual drug, rather than performing a qualitative screen followed by a quantitative test. This method provides results quantified at lower limits with drug specificity, for one single price.
Clinical Supplies for Testing
In-office testing devices*, specimen cups, test requisition forms and shipping supplies are available to customers through Millennium Laboratories Clinical Supply.
* CLIA license required for in-office urine drug test devices.
